Screaming Mimes are celebrating the release of their latest album, Tragedy Comic, this Friday at the historic Southgate House. Infectious power pop is their genre of choice and are always ready to put on a great show. The CD release will also feature some behind the scenes looks at the making of the album.

Cost: Free to get in/deeply discounted books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, etc.
Friends of the Public Library have been in operation for over fifty years, dedicated to "helping the Library make information and knowledge accessible to the communities it serves." These sales are usually on a weekly basis but for the month of January its only happening this weekend. Bookworms are sure to find a tome or two worth taking home.
