CityBeat Local Chocolate Round-up
There are a few things that get our heart racing here at BuyCincy: chief among them a good cup of coffee, the Findlay Market waffle guy, a pint of Christian Moerlein on draft, and local chocolatiers. Well, CityBeat
just sampled four local sweets masters (it's a tough job, but someone
has to do it) from Bellevue to Montgomery to help you make someone's
Valentine's Day.
Freida's Desserts in Madeira (featuring a killer Peanut Butter Crunch pastry), Marble Hill in O'Bryonville (one of our favorites), Schneider's Sweet Shop in Bellevue (the best old-school candy shop in the area), and Haute Chocolate in Montgomery (signatures include truffles, brownies and Bodacious Buckeyes) were all visited - and, no surpise, the CityBeat folks came away with good reviews and a bit of a sugar high.
Note to area chocolatiers: we gladly accept free samples.

Mmmm ... Schneider's.
My parents used to take my brother and I there every summer for their sno-cones. Best sno-cone I've ever tasted. I recommend them with the ice cream in the bottom.
