Hearing that Embrace Sweets will no longer have a physical presence in Cincinnati leaves some of the BuyCincy crew feeling like junkies.  Where will we get our blueberry scone fix!?  How will we manage without our weekly Embrace brownie!?  In a press release yesterday, Embrace announced that rising costs, not a lack of demand, has caused the closure their physical presence, and obviously halted their plans to open a brownie boutique in the Gateway Quarter.

I guess we will have to turn to the internets (through embracesweets.com and amazon.com) to feed our addiction, as fortunately Sandra and Brandi will continue virtual operations.  We are sad to see their goods leave store shelves, though, it was great to slip into Lookout Joe's on 7th St. to grab a little sweetness in the morning, which always made for a great start to our day.
