July 25th, 2008 will mark the last day of business downtown for M. Hopple & Co., a premier paper goods store based in Cincinnati.   The downtown location, in the Westin Hotel, has been open since 1981.  Their second location which will still be open, has been located in Kenwood since 1986.  We will miss the staff and the great paper products in the downtown area, but they'll still be available in the Cincinnati area. 

Also, if you're a local artist, check out their website www.mhopple.com and look for the "A Call to All Artists".  Use your creativity to celebrate Cincinnati history, the site says.  It's the CityArt Holiday Card Contest...you could have your art, with a Cincinnati theme, made into a holiday card and sold at the M. Hopple & Co. stores and featured in the media. Submissions are due August 22.
