NVISION: Funky Shopping in Northside

nvision1.jpgWhat can you find at NVISION? A better question might be: what can't you find? The wares run the gamut from vintage to locally-designed, from clothing for men, women, and babies to home decor and all points in between. The best part? NVISION is having a massive sidewalk sale this weekend, 12-13 July!
On a typical shopping outing to NVISION, you might walk out with a handmade hat, a Space Age ceramic lamp, a men's Guayabera shirt, and a candy-colored vintage dinette set. Perhaps your shopping partner walks out with a bracelet made from a vintage record and a limited-edition, locally screenprinted t-shirt.

The merchandise turns over rather quickly, with much of the furniture listed on Cragslist. The eclectic exhibits change every month or two. Recent exhibit have included hand-painted movie posters from Ghana, and black-and-white photographs of Spanish bullfighters by French photographer Camille Cier. The store also offers clothing alterations.

NVISIONNVISION is an owner-operated retail shop representing many local designers, including Helen Smith, Tori Kadish, Amber Reis, Nancy Gamon, Erin Feller, Amy Wallace, VisuaLingual, Karen Dengler, and Emily B, with many more to come. The boutique caters to customers who enjoy creating their own look, have a DIY sensibility, and/or appreciate original and vintage design to complement their unique personality. Located next to the Comet and open until 9pm Wednesday-Sunday, NVISION represents some of the best and funkiest that the eclectic Northside has to offer.
