Aquarius Star & Shangri-la Spiritual Center: Tibetan Monks will be creating a Sand Mandala (yes, really sand) for Universal peace. You can witness this once in a lifetime event Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Spiritual Center is located at 1218 Sycamore Street. For more information call (513)381-3436.
NVISION Art Exhibition: Friday from 6-10 p.m. you can view fashion prints and wall art by two talented local artists: Anastasia Kast and Paula Goodman. Music (by DJMCMLXXIII) and refreshments will be provided. Check it out at 4577 Hamilton Avenue.
KZF Gallery, Meet My Hero: An exhibition of student photographs featuring U.S. military personnel in Iraq. Open Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 655 Eden Park Drive.
The Birth of Coffee Exhibition: Linda and Daniel Lorenzetti trace the origin of coffee through words and photos at the Public Library on Vine Street. Open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Jake Speed: The talented local musician will be playing at the Northside Tavern (4163 Hamilton Avenue), Friday night at 10 p.m.
Creek Romp: Take a 2 hour guided hike, and discover the wonders of nature. $6 for adults, $3 for children. Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cincinnati Nature Center, 4949 Tealtown Road, Milford. For more information call (513)831-1711.
Emma The Musical: The BuyCincy staff is extremely excited about this. Playhouse in the Park is presenting a new musical based on Jane Austen's classic novel. Check out one of the following performances at 962 Mount Adams Circle:
