Shake-It is giving music lovers a reason to hang on to their oh-so-fashionable "I Voted" stickers. Throughout tomorrow's voting day (Tuesday 11/4, mark it down) and what the past few elections has become recount day (Wednesday 11/5), Shake-It is offering 10% off your purchase when your sport your voting sticker. In their words, "We figure this is the most important election a looooong time so let's give folks a High Five when they vote & they can save a few bucks in these tight times."
If two days of Shake-It goodness aren't good enough (and they rarely are), the store of course has more events throughout the month.
Sometimes BuyCincy contributor and Shake-It's vinyl guru Billy Carter just finished The Rock Bible. What's The Rock Bible you say? Luckily enough, we have a blurb:
It is an insiders guide to living the rock and roll dream, or thinking you do - a hilarious rule book full of do's and dont's for musicians, wannabe musicians and rock fans of all ages. Complete with faux biblical illustrations parables and essays from comedian Patton Oswalt, Man or Astro Man drummer Brian Teasley and professional smartasses Andrew Earles. The Rock Bible is a rude and raunchy look at the best and worst of rock n' roll.
Find The Rock Bible at Shake-It, and look for the few signed copies they may have left.
