While this holiday season was tough for many large retailers, many Cincinnatians flocked to their neighborhood businesses to ensure our neighbors and neighborhoods were supported. Our goal in 2009 is to try and spread this attitude throughout the year, to mobilize neighborhoods in support of their small business districts, and to reward to the entrepreneurial spirit of Cincinnati's  best shopowners in a tough economy.

So thanks to everyone who supported us in 2008: The retailers who joined in our mission, the kind members of the media who helped us get the word out, and especially our readers - who continued to tell their families about the site and pass along stories to their friends. May 2009 bring success, peace, and happiness to your lives.
