John Leon: Music and Mountains

A Family Arts Celebration

Newport Historical Walking Tour: Gangsters, Gamblers & Girls

The walking tour lasts 90 minutes, starting with a presentation inside The Syndicate. The tour then transitions to the streets outside, where it is led by at least two guides in gangster regalia. -VL

This weekend there is a special movie presentation. Because 4th of July events were cancelled due to rain, the special enhanced version of the movie Independence Day will be shown at 9pm complete with fireworks. Bee Movie will be shown at 7:30pm. -QCS
Mayor Mallory Neighborhood Movie Night: Madagascar 2

The family friendly movie Madagascar 2 will be shown beginning at dusk, around 9:15pm. Concessions will be sold, but you are invited to bring your own picnic basket/cooler and blanket and chairs to view and enjoy the movie. -QCS

There's also Mt. Adams Cinema in the City featuring the 1940 move A Philadelphia Story. The movie is shown free at Seasongood Pavilion and starts at dusk on Friday night.
And Sunday over in Newport there is the annual car show, and new this year is the corresponding Superbad Bike Show from 11a-7p on Monmouth Street. (UrbanCincy will be covering the bike show!)
