This week's Soapbox features Newport Pizza Co., a brand spankin' new pizza joint at 601 Monmouth Street in Newport.
Reason we're excited number 1: Fresh pizza made daily. OK, that one was a gimme.
Reason 2: "variety of micro-brews that any beer connoisseur can appreciate." We prefer beer snob thank you very much.
Reason 3: Outdoor seating. Tis the season.
Reason 4: Late hours. Until 11pm on weekdays and 1am Friday and Saturday.
Finally, reason 5: It's about 5 minutes from BuyCincy HQ.
Oh yes, we will be checking this out. Ummm, research....yeah....

Yeah the place looks great. I unfortunately didn't have time to stay and try out the owner's "killer pizza recipe," but I can't wait to get back and do so.
The beer selection really is good...most are bottles, but I was soo happy when I heard the owners say that they have Abita Amber on stock. It's one of my top five favorite beers and is pretty hard to come by up north.
