Stepfanie Romine: June 2008 Archives

Normally BuyCincy would have a picture of to accompany this review of a business. However, a torrential downpour made that all but impossible. But that deluge was serendipitous. If it hadn't started raining, I wouldn't have pulled off I-71 for a detour down Madison Road. And if that storm hadn't happened, I never would have seen Yat Ka Mein in the distance.

While this BuyCincy staffer might be slightly biased (I'm one of the organizers), the debut Cincinnati E.A.T.S. event at Lavomatic last night was fabulous! This multigenerational, casual dining club is sure to keep selling out.
It was a busy weekend for BuyCincy, with birthday parties, vegan cookouts and reunions with old friends. So we are a bit late posting this tidbit: Market on the Square began today. It ended... 90 minutes ago. But the good news is that if you missed it like we did, you can head to Fountain Square next Tuesday and every Tuesday this summer.
Grammer's might be Cincinnati's second-oldest bar, but the Over-the-Rhine watering hole is adding some decidedly modern events.
BuyCincy loves to eat. And we love to talk. So we're really excited about Cincinnati E.A.T.S. (Epicureans About Town Society), which is sure to be the next big social event in the city.
