Greetings from Findlay Market!

Final preparations are in process for the 89th annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade.  This world renowned parade is a gift of the merchants of Findlay Market to the citizens o Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to celebrate the coming of spring and the opening day of baseball season.

The weekend before the parade is always fun and you should make plans to visit the Market Saturday or Sunday and take part in the fun.

11:00 am - 2:00 pm a book signing by author and former sportscaster, Greg Hoard; Greg will be selling and signing his memoir of Joe Nuxhall - Joe: Rounding Third and Heading for Home

Noon - 1:00 pm Music in the Market - Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, (and former co-worker of a certain BuyCincy cofounder, KM) Dave Hawkins will perform some Market favorites, including his "The Baseball Song."

9:00 am - 1:00 pm the Friends of Findlay Market will be selling a commemorative poster of Joe Nuxhall.  Proceeds benefit the Joe Nuxhall Character Education Fund.

The Grand Opening of Market Wines.  The fondest wish of many Market enthusiasts has come true!  Michael Maxwell has opened a fine wines and micro-brewed and import beer shop on the Market Square, next to Leader Furniture.  Michael will be conducting a sampling event throughout the day.  Stop by and say hello to the market's newest merchant and sample a few of his delicious wines.
